G&F goes Behind the Music

Next month, the Chicago Children’s Choir, Lookingglass Theatre Company and Natya Dance Theatre will remount an original musical, Sita Ram. But Sita Ram is more than just a musical—it’s a collaboration of some of the city’s greatest cultural institutions; it’s a vehicle to give confidence and power to Chicago’s diverse youth; and it’s a universal story of good, evil, love...and at least, we hear, a scene involving monkeys.
