PARTY: Warby Parker Bocce Social
VENUE: A very posh parking lot next door to Big Star.
DATE: Saturday, July 21st
THE LURE: Bocce. Bags. Beer. Who could ask for anything more? Throw in a pair of Warby Parker’s, and you’ve got an afternoon to remember. The eyewear brand, known for their fashion-forward prescription frames that won’t break the bank, threw a launch party to celebrate their arrival to Chicago by way of Apartment Number 9 in Wicker Park. All fun aside, they set up the storefront next door to the decked out parking lot and invited guests over to try on the full range of glasses. Our favorites? The new Crystal frame collection. We’re a sucker for the Trilliny frame in Bellini (we even featured it in our G&F Jet Set Guide), a creamy orange that is the perfect shade for summer. >>
