PARTY: Behind the Scenes of a Fashion Photo Shoot
VENUE: Soho House Chicago
DATE: Thursday, April 23
THE LURE: Alongside fashion photograph Kirsten Miccoli, we created a whimsical world of ‘70s sensuality for our Spring Fashion Shoot at Soho House Chicago. Models were transformed into our languid vignette—romantic, bored in her bedroom and not quite Studio 54, but almost there. We enlisted an all-star team to capture our ‘70s show in the Music Room of Soho House Chicago, and then opened the doors to let people in on the fun behind-the-scenes—we get a kick out of breaking down the fourth wall (i.e. #GFxTOPSHOP). Guests were greeted with models in hair and makeup while a rack packed with 70’s inspired goodies was waiting to be edited. Sipping on Pomerey bubbles, our attendees listened to each artist divulge about their presence within the shoot. Factor artist Fredy Anaya dished on creating Bianca Jagger-inspired beauty with current products, while stylists Brandon Frein and Arlene Matthews of Kit This shared their experience of translating the G&F moodboard to dreamy, listless looks. >>
