THE LURE: JBar resident DJ Kevin Taek cleared some room on the turntables to welcome local scenester James Goeke to spin his favorite tracks for the Friday night crowd. So what was the most challenging part, we asked the budding DJ? “Mixing. Fading. Beat Matching. That was the toughest part,” said James. The packed crowd didn’t miss a beat—they put down their Mojito Diego’s (a JBar special featuring Cruzan rum, lime and mint foam) and crowded the dance floor. Want to recreate James’ night out?
