THE LURE: Trends! Tips! And Tastings! What more could any fun-loving, party-seeking guest want? Our resident expert on all things stylish, Debi Lilly, debuted DIY trends for wedding parties this season in her perfectly manicured salon, A Perfect Event. Guests loved the Italian Soda Bar with infused sparkling sips from Blood Orange to Tropical ‘Honeymoon’. Debi’s shtick? ‘It’s all about Grocery to Gorgeous!’ she says with a smile. Spring berries, herbs fresh from the produce aisle and more were muddled and frozen and mixed in, making cocktail chic couture on the bar that is as accessible as it is exciting. A Marie Antoinette-inspired cake table were all sweets plucked straight from the aisles of Safeway/Dominick’s. But the most fun might have been the playful Smilebooth photo set-up where guests got giddy in front of the lens. >>
