Let us revel in the last few weeks of balmy summer weather, but not neglect the inevitable: Fall is coming. As someone who works with hundreds of products and countless name brands, Kristina is giving us just the right tips to spruce up our makeup bags to include transitional items and hot beauty trends for a new season. Below is a rundown of how to revamp your routine from warm to cool weather as makeup trends and skincare concerns transform.
MOISTURIZER
Kristina says: While a lightweight, SPF-laced hydrater is great on sunny days, the fall months are going to leave our complexions craving something more substantial and reparative. FOUNDATION

BRONZER
Kristina says: This is the best time of year to ditch your crusty powder and experiment with a liquid bronzer. LAURA MERCIER FOUNDATION PRIMER RADIANCE BRONZE, $34 (A) is a must-have in my kit this time of year. On medium to tan tones, I use it all over underneath foundation to prime and enhance. On fair to light tones, I buff it over the high planes of the face on top of foundation for a sun kissed kick.
MASCARA
Kristina says: Waterproof mascara is great for outdoor activities on humid days, but prolonged use can be damaging to your lashes. A gentler alternative that’s still guaranteed not to budge is a tubing mascara, like MAC EXTENDED PLAY LASH, $17 (E). LIP COLOR
Kristina says: Glosses and tinted balms are summertime staples, but fall is a perfect time to bust out the berry tones.
