Oct 17, 2013 >> #ChicagoGetsTagged and You’re Invited!
To celebrate the launch of Benetton’s Fall/Winter campaign and new on-line store—which, by the way, we’ve bookmarked for instant access to new cozy weather favorites—the Italian brand brought on artist James Jankowiak to reimagine the logos of some of Chicago’s most influential bloggers. And we don’t want to toot our own horn, but our e-magazine is one of them. We’ll be switching out our old logo for something a little more street-style soon. (Hint: come back and visit us on Wednesday, October 23rd to check it out!).
So why the graffiti? Benetton’s fall campaign is inspired by music, featuring trendsetters on the global scale set against a graffiti background and shot by fashion photographer Mikael Jansson (pictured above). The result? A melting pot of cool people wearing good clothes—and now, shopable from wherever you are via the new e-commerce site. Want to see a little more, we love the fall campaign trailer on Benetton’s YouTube page.
And to celebrate the #ChicagoGetsTagged logo takeover, we’re inviting you to take part in the fun. On Wednesday, October 23rd, G&F creative assistant Anthony Mugnolo sports his Benetton best with Jena Gambaccini of ChiCityFashion, Monica Dimperio of The Midwasteland and Emma Arnold of Tres Awesome. And some lucky guest will walk home with a $500 gift card to the new on-line store. Click below for a close-up of details for the event:
