Glossed and Found

Nov 1, 2012 >> Mama Mia! Maria Ponce stocks up for baby.

Our G&F Spotlight this week, photographer Maria Ponce, is positively glowing. Although we asked Maria to dish her beauty must-haves, we couldn’t help but find out what was in store for the soon-to-be most stylish kid on the block. She shares her baby picks below.

ONE >> Blablas Knit Dolls
A modern twist on the traditional sock monkey: they look cute without junking up the nursery! My husband Trey bought her one over the summer at a cute shop during a stay in Beverly Shores Indiana. We will always tell her it was the first thing her dad bought her.

TWO >> Serena and Lily toy storage bins
Because the idea of baby clutter taking over our place freaks us out, we are excited to have found these well-designed storage bins for all her baby stuff.

THREE >> Jellycats Stuffed Animals
The softest stuffed animals ever. In fact, they so cute I am tempted to steal this from my unborn child already.

FOUR >> Trumpette socks
The cutest baby socks and all your baby really needs until she’s walking. A million cute styles. (Alternatively, I love Hanna Andersson slippers in tons of colors for colder weather).

FIVE >> Oeuf
We got the Classic Crib from Oeuf. It has really simple lines and goes with the rest of our place which is all very modern and minimalist.

SIX >> Aden + Anais Swaddles
I registered for about 12 to these—they are really thin and soft, and the patterns are modern.

SEVEN >> Dwell Studio Baby
Trey actually approves of almost anything from Dwell because he shops the regular furniture line there for himself. I secretly think he wishes that some of the stuff from the baby boutique was made in adult sizes (i.e. the hooded towel sets).

EIGHT >> Hatch
This is by far the most amazing maternity collection. I just ordered this dress to get me thru the holiday party dress season.
