Oct 9, 2012 >> G&F JET SET GUIDE: San Francisco
Although we’re mourning the warm, sleeveless days of summer, fall makes us giddy for a few things: red wine, knit sweaters and weekend trips. Combine all three of those with a westward jaunt to San Francisco. Our spotlight this week, Neat Method co-founder Ashley Murphy and her partner Molly Graves, recently moved back from the city by the bay and we asked them to fill us in on the hot spots in their cool city (see their Neat Method picks in our G&F printable San Fran Jet Set guide below). And above, we’ve included some of our favorite finds for a memorable weekend abroad.
ONE >> Promenade coat, $268, by Madewell
It’s the city of unpredictable weather, and like our mother always used to say: Always bring a coat! We’re in love with this Madewell camel coat—it’s old school menswear for the ladies. A perfect nod to those sophisticated San Franciscans.
TWO >> Notebook, $20, by Life Stationary for Top Hat
The city has sparked inspiration for famous authors like Jack Kerouac, Dave Eggers and Amy Tan. Be prepared for enlightenment with this charming notebook. Or maybe you can just use it to write down your favorite glasses of wine along the way. That’s important, too.
THREE >> Chandler glasses in Olivewood, $95, by Warby Parker
The perfect accessory to accompany you along the Art Deco Walking tour throughout the city.
FOUR >> Blagger Nail Polish, $14, by Butter London
Add a little sass to your day trip to Sausalito with Butter London’s cobalt blue nail polish.
FIVE >> Suede belt, $24.95, by Gap
If we had to pick a favorite color, it just might be yellow. And this suede Gap belt does yellow oh so good. A little nod to the Golden Gate Bridge, eh?
SIX >> Castlebara combat boot, $100, by Aldo
Forget wearing flowers in your hair, we’re donning them on our feet. G&F is in love with these combat boots crawling with english roses.
