Aug 27, 2012 >> #3S4H Saturday: Habitat for Humanity Chicago Youth Board throws an event with style
If you noticed some atypical tweets this weekend (i.e. overheads at #3S4H, talks of sturgeon surgeons and #glitterdiapers), it was all in the name of a good cause.
Habitat for Humanity’s Chicago Youth Board invited Glossed & Found, alongside some of the city’s top influencers in a variety of fascinating industries, to experience a day like no other. The goal? To help drive awareness to HFH through the power of social media. The result? A madcap day at the World of Whirlpool with the executive chef of Tru (in which G&F’s D. Graham Kostic co-hosted a cooking demo!); an improv class at Second City; a painting class with Bottle & Bottega at Red Frog Events; and finally a stop at Square One for an after party that was well worth it.
