Feb 7, 2012 >> Love, Noted! Valentine’s Day Dinner at NoMi Kitchen
One thing I love about my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day: He always writes me a beautiful love note in a card. After all, it is what Valentine’s Day is all about! This year—and I am obsessed with this!—NoMI Kitchen partners with local favorite Suitor Stationary for the big V-Day: Signed, Sealed and Delivered.
In my world, I love it when food and romance collide. The launch of ‘Suitor for NoMI’ includes three elegantly witty cards with sayings: Never Kiss and Chanterelle, Romeo & Julienned, and May Your Bouche Always Be Amused. And what’s more? They’ll each be personalized.
Guests’ booking a reservation at NoMI Kitchen will receive an email following their booking with instructions on how to customize their card and write a special note to their valentine. At the conclusion of dinner, a handwritten version of the message will be delivered with a specially prepared dessert by Pastry Chef Meg Galus. It gives “Hot Off the Press” a whole new meaning!
Not to worry, Chef Ryan LaRoche as the love bites covered, with an exquisite four-course fixed menu for an unforgettable Valentine’s Day meal. Highlights include Shigoku Oysters; Roasted Beets topped with smoked trout, horse radish, blood orange and pistachio; and Hand Cut Linguini topped with truffled parmesan cream and toasted garlic bread crumbs.
And you get to take some sweets home with your sweet, to enjoy after hours. Is it the perfect V-Day? I think it just might be.
