Lashes, lashes, lashes! We all have them. Some of us more, and some of us less. Unfortunately, most mascara advertisements are very misleading. I’m tired of looking at mascara ads where models are wearing ‘fake lashes.’ I’m the first to admit I love fake lashes, however there is no need to fool everyone into thinking that mascara made her lashes look like that.

Instead of just venting (sorry!), I want to share with you my favorite for products the perfect lash. >>

ONE >> FAUX CILS BY YVES SAINT LAURENT
My most coveted mascara by far is Yves Saint Laurent Faux Cils mascara. Just one coat and you’ll be amazed. I personally don’t like the look of multiple coats of mascara. Faux Cils achieves great separation and volume in just one coat.

TWO >> LATISSE
One thing about me is that I’m almost too honest. It sometimes gets me into trouble. So I’ll admit for the past six weeks I’ve been using Latisse and I’m really liking it. I can measurably see a huge difference in the length of my lashes. I’m not about to forget my mascara just yet, however I get a serious Wow! factor after I put it on.

THREE >> VOLUMINOUS ORIGINAL MASCARA BY L’OREAL
For anyone who can’t stomach the $30 price tag for YSL, a good alternative is Voluminous Original Mascara by L’Oreal (It’s a steal at $5.99).
