In this week’s G&F Halloween Special, we got a hold of Sally Kenyon, founder of Uptown Brownie. While she kept tight-lipped about her family’s brownie recipe secret, we did wrangle out the how-to for her delicious Pumpkin Spice filling.

Layer this in with your own brownie mix for a groovy Halloween treat!

It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brownie!
INGREDIENTS: 1 8Oz pkg softened cream cheese // .5 cup canned pumpkin // .25 cup flour // 1 egg // 1 tsp cinnamon // .5 tsp ground clove // 1 tsp vanilla

In a mixer beat cream cheese. Add other ingredients and beat for 1 minute. Pour 1/2 of the brownie batter in the pan, then the pumpkin mixture, then the rest of the batter. Bake at 350. Let cool and serve!
