Did you fall in love with Camp Wandawega like we did? In this week’s G&F Interview, the classic camp near Elkhorn, Wisconsin came to life by way of its flawless creator, Tereasa Surratt. Although we went on a madcap tour of the property, we still had some time for Tereasa to teach us how to make the Wandawega Signature Summer Cocktail (which was created for the camp by master mixologist William Golden). We’re sharing the recipe with you below:

INGREDIENTS
Gin, Simple Syrup, Lemon Juice, Orange Bitters, Mint, Honey, Ice, Club Soda

In a vintage shaker, add 1 vintage jigger of simple syrup, 1 vintage jigger of fresh lemon juice (squeezed from your vintage juicer) and 2 vintage jiggers of Gin (We poured ours from a vintage liquor bottle). Add a dash of orange bitters, a mint sprig and a teaspoon of honey. Add ice. Shake like crazy (in a vintage shaker). Strain over ice into vintage rocks glasses. Top with Club Soda. Garnish with a lemon wheel and mint spring.
