So I married Mr. Wonderful. He sent me a dozen red roses after our first date and told me that I was a woman who deserved to always have red roses in my home. Well, he is a man to his word. Because of him, there will always be two things I wake up to: red roses and yoga poses. No, my husband doesn’t do yoga—I’m still working on his exercise regimen!—but I always start my morning with a series of yoga poses to wake up the neuromuscular system, called Sun Salutations. Repeating the series 3-4 times every day will get you off to a wonderful day and in a good mood!  In honor of heart health month and Valentine’s Day, try these poses for one week (which I have demonstrated in my video below), every morning and see how you feel.
